What you can achieve

As a member of the Rotor department at the GE Vernova production site in Birr, you will, as a welder in a 3-shift operation, actively contribute to supporting the department in production and demonstrate your own initiative

Job Description #

Your tasks

• Welding rotors (steam and gas turbines) on TIG and submerged arc welding machines as well as manually (E and TIG) in compliance with quality and time specifications
• Setting up various welding machines including lifting equipment
• Loading and operating ovens
• Assembling and winding rotors on the TIG welding machine
• Operating cranes (up to 60 t)
• General welding preparation work

What you should bring (basic qualifications)

• Training as a welder or comparable training
• Several years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in E and TIG processes
• Experience in reading technical drawings and documents
• Experience in automated welding is an advantage
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
• PC skills
