Scope of Work ###

• Assortment responsibility: Responsibility for the design, planning, and ongoing analysis of the assigned furniture area
• Entrepreneurial management: Responsibility for budget, turnover, and stocks as well as ensuring optimal product availability
• Supplier management: Conducting price, condition, and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers
• Procurement market analysis: Observation, analysis, and evaluation of current and potential procurement markets domestic and abroad
• Strategic further development: Identification of market trends and development of attractive assortment and procurement concepts
• Performance management: Analysis of turnover, sales, and key figures to optimize the assortment
• Leadership: Operational leadership of the purchasing assistant

Profile ###

• Education: Completed commercial training with sound further training or corresponding professional experience in purchasing
• Professional experience: Several years of experience in the purchasing of furniture
• Negotiation competence: Confident appearance as well as experience in price and contract negotiations with suppliers
• Analytical skills: Strong understanding of numbers, analytical thinking, and entrepreneurial way of acting
• Personality: High level of initiative, communication strength, and assertiveness
• Flexibility: Resilient, flexible personality with a high willingness to travel
• IT skills: SAP knowledge is an advantage as well as proficient use of standard MS Office applications
• Languages: German in spoken and written form, good English skills, French is an advantage
