Police Instructor (M/F) L’Association de communes Sécurité Riviera (ASR) is a pioneering regional public security organization that embodies a new form of public action, grouping several emergency services: Police Riviera, Ambulance Riviera, SDIS Riviera, ORPC Riviera. To these operational domains are added the Direction as well as the General Services, which constitute a transversal administrative entity grouping notably the Office of Commerce and Events, as well as the Office of Mobility. ASR today counts 250 and nearly 750 (PCi and volunteer firefighters) who combine daily commitment and sense of service, quality and reliability of actions, proximity and spirit of partnership, in service to the population. ASR is in charge of local security in the nine partner communes that compose it and covers a population basin of nearly 85'000 Our police service is looking for a specialist in police training to join its team. This key position has the mission to plan, develop and implement training and drills within the police force. It also ensures coordination with the various actors of police training at the level of the OPV and plays a central role in the evolution of techniques, equipment and pedagogical methods. He/she ensures the harmonization of training between the affiliated police forces and the adaptation of practices according to operational needs and the new directives of the OPV. Main missions Planning and management: develop and supervise the planning of ASR instructors, as well as all technical branches for the ASR Police Corps. Analysis and update: analyze and update internal service orders related to the technical branches, as well as interventions in the Riviera sector. Data management: update training data in the dedicated databases. Advice: ensure the role of domain head at the FOCO SOPV level. Study new equipment and formulate proposals for the attention of the Staff. Development and collaboration: collaborate with the various services of ASR to guarantee a coherent and effective approach to training. Training and support: ensure security support and specific training during major or specific events. Act as a mentor and expert for the federal certificate. Ensure the technical training of aspirants and police officers in training, as well as that of coaches. Administrative management: take charge of the administrative aspects related to this function. What you bring Federal certificate of police officer (Swiss certificate, required) 8 years minimum experience in the field at Police secours and 5 years within the framework of police instruction in one or more professional branches Federal certificate of adult educator desired In accordance with our legal provisions, this position can only be filled by Swiss nationals. Required skills Sense of responsibility and ethics of public service. Adaptability and flexibility. Marked aptitude in communication, both oral and written. Mastery of legal frameworks and applicable regulations. Solid knowledge in police technique and tactics. Excellent pedagogical abilities and mastery of training tools. Ability to structure training and to manage several training projects in parallel, with rigor. Excellent physical condition and psychological resistance. Flexibility of hours and work according to training needs but also operational necessities. You are ready to provide reinforcement to units by ensuring your primary function as a police officer whenever necessary.
