For a Zurich architecture and general contractor office, we are looking for an experienced personality as Construction Manager Building Construction 60 - 100 %. Entry by agreement, planned from January 2027.

The office plans and realizes new buildings, conversions and renovations in the residential and commercial sector -- from multi-family houses to commercial properties to listed buildings. Planning and execution are often in one hand. The team is small, the paths are short, the projects are rather small to medium.

Your tasks

• Independent management of building construction projects across all relevant phases -- from cost planning to final accounting
• Coordination and supervision of execution as well as the entire construction site organization
• Securing of costs, quality and deadlines
• Preparation and processing of tender documents, schedules, cost estimates and contracts
• Leading construction meetings and contractor rounds
• Local construction management and quality control on the construction site
• Active management of the participating contractors and specialist planners
• Checking of offers, measurements, invoices and supplements
• Accompanying of acceptances, defect rectification and project completion
• Professional communication with clients, planners, contractors and authorities

Your profile

• Completed training as a Drafter Building Construction, Construction Manager, Technician HF Building Construction or equivalent in building construction
• Proven experience in the management of building construction projects in Switzerland
• Sound knowledge of SIA standards as well as Swiss construction and planning processes
• Experience in tendering, awarding, scheduling and construction administration
• Confident appearance towards contractors, planners and clients
• Persuasiveness, negotiation skills and organizational talent
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Communicative, team-oriented personality
• High demand for responsibility and quality
• Workload 60 - 100 %
