The ICT & Digital Organisation of Caritas Schweiz is in a transformation towards a service-oriented organisation with clear services, responsibilities and governance structures. We are building a Service Management Office (SMO) as a central integration and support function for the service units. In this key role, you will take over both the technical and disciplinary leadership of the Service Management Office (SMO) and the operational responsibility for individual SMO topic areas. These include, among other things, portfolio management, project & provider management, service level management, moderation of standardisation initiatives, custody and enforcement of standards and specifications for ITIL and SIAM practices, consolidation and preparation of operational information for various stakeholders, etc. This will create and maintain the foundations for a reliable, integrated and controllable service organisation for around 1,100 employees worldwide. Your tasks Leadership of the Service Management Office Technical leadership and further development of the Service Management Office (SMO) Moderation of standardisation initiatives and custody and enforcement of standards and specifications for ITIL and SIAM practices Setup and operation of a central reporting function for the consolidation and preparation of operational information for various stakeholders Ensuring data quality in the Operational Data Store / Reporting System Strategic management of relationships with external providers Leadership & Governance Leadership of a cross-functional team Establishment of a collaborative service culture ("One Team") Coordination and mediation between Service Family Teams to avoid silos Technical and hierarchical escalation instance Contribution to the further development of the ICT & Digital Service Organisation Our requirements Technical competencies Several years of experience in IT Service Management or Enterprise Service Management Experience in building and developing a service organisation with a focus on service integration (integrate over build) Experience in transforming a technology, product and infrastructure-oriented organisation into a service-oriented organisation Experience with multi-provider environments and service integration In-depth implementation knowledge of ITIL 4/5, SIAM 2026 or comparable frameworks Experience in portfolio and SLA management as well as target group-specific reporting Leadership competencies Experience in leading teams or cross-functional organisations Ability to align different stakeholders with common standards and goals Distinct conflict resolution skills and assertiveness Strategic thinking combined with operational implementation strength Personal skills Entrepreneurial thinking and sense of responsibility Structured way of working and high data and process affinity Distinct stakeholder management Enjoyment of change and organisational development We offer A key role in the transformation of the ICT & Digital Organisation Scope for design in building a modern, service-oriented organisation Collaboration with committed teams in Switzerland and internationally Modern working models and flexible working hours Place of work is Luzern with possibility of home office.
