Nutrition Consultant

The nutrition counseling service of Claraspital supports patients of the Tumor and Abdominal Center during their inpatient stay and accompanies them on an outpatient basis if needed. We are also specialized in the care of patients before and after bariatric surgery. ### Your tasks • Outpatient preliminary clarification and follow-up care for bariatric patients in an interdisciplinary team • Care and counseling of outpatient patients with a focus on oncology, visceral surgery, obesity, diabetes, and bariatrics • Holding internal and public lectures as well as further training courses • Participating in and implementing projects Your profile • Completed professional training BSc Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent) • Enthusiasm for obesity, diabetes, bariatrics, and clinical nutrition with a focus on visceral surgery and oncology, experience an advantage • Social competence with pronounced team and communication skills • Flexibility, resilience, commitment, and a self-dependent and responsible way of working • Foreign language skills (especially French, English, and Italian an advantage) Benefits • Age-dependent 28-33 paid vacation days per year • Extensive opportunities for further education and training, e.g. own seminar program with a wide range of educational offerings • Occupational health management with preventive measures such as ergonomic consulting at the workplace • Part-time work as well as possibility of job sharing also in leadership positions • Bright, friendly rooms with modern infrastructure • Pronounced values and actively lived corporate culture • Shaping and co-design of Claraspital by the employees About Claraspital Claraspital, the largest private hospital in Basel, is a university teaching and research hospital with a comprehensive range of services for highly specialized abdominal surgery and a supra-regional impact of its centers "Abdomen" and "Tumor" as well as its specialties.
