Thayngen is a municipality with a rural character. It was certified in 2017 with the Unicef label "Child Friendly Municipality". The directed school of Thayngen is a progressive and dynamic school where teaching is integrated. Across several sites, approximately 700 motivated children and young people learn together with highly committed and experienced teachers. The school of Thayngen works according to the "School workplace" concept, which places great importance on the development of transversal skills. During the self-learning time integrated into teaching, students have the possibility to work on the learning content of the different subjects according to their personal level or to improve their basic skills in reading, writing, arithmetic and foreign languages.

Due to an unpaid leave of absence of a permanent teacher, we are looking for a replacement from 4 to 29 January 2027.
