Berna-Ittigen (and home office) | 80-100% Your contribution <br /> • Lead a team of nine employees, support their professional growth, and jointly develop the Strategic Planning section; define work programs, plan resource allocation, and manage priorities • Assume, together with the team, responsibility for the preliminary verification and examination of cantonal master plans, ensuring their quality and compliance with deadlines • Organize collaboration with the Cantons and relevant federal services, developing sustainable solutions in the presence of divergent interests • Further develop procedures and requirements regarding strategic planning and, if necessary, the related legal bases • Coordinate collaboration within the ARE and ensure the integration of the section's needs. • Represent the ARE in working groups and parliamentary commissions as well as organize conferences and reports <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • University degree with professional specialization in the field of spatial planning or equivalent qualification as well as several years of professional experience in the field of spatial planning • Management experience and the aptitude to share responsibility with the team, provide guidance, and promote a sense of responsibility and development • Ability to integrate different personalities, fostering a culture based on collaboration and trust • Understanding of political dynamics, authority, negotiation skills and the ability to reconcile different interests, developing sustainable solutions • Analytical and strategic thinking as well as the ability to structure complex issues, define priorities, and make sound decisions despite high pressure • Excellent writing skills and interest in interdisciplinary collaboration between different specialist areas • Good active knowledge of at least one other official language and passive knowledge of a third official language, good command of English <br /> In summary Lead. In this function, together with an expert team, you will be responsible for the examination of cantonal master plans for the purpose of their approval by the Federal Council, you will collaborate with the Cantons on the further development of this planning tool and will operate at the interface between the Confederation and the Cantons.
