Project Manager in Environmental Planning / Environmental Construction Supervision (60%-100%)

What you will do

In your role as a Project Manager in the Environmental Department, depending on your experience, you will take on partial or full project management of a demanding environmental project from planning to realization - independently or with other specialists in the environmental field and often as part of an interdisciplinary project mandate. You will work closely with specialists from the fields of transport, civil engineering, hydraulic engineering, tunnel construction, geotechnics, and spatial planning and contribute your expertise.

A particular focus of your activity lies in the preparation of environmental impact reports (UVB) as well as environmental construction supervision (UBB) for demanding projects. In doing so, you ensure the environmental optimization of projects and facilities and ensure that all environmental law requirements are met sustainably. Furthermore, you maintain existing customer relationships, support the acquisition of new projects, and participate in the further development of our Environmental Department.

What you bring with you

You have a completed degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, geography, natural sciences, or a comparable field of study. Ideally, you bring several years of professional experience in environmental planning, environmental impact assessment, or environmental construction supervision. In addition, you have specialist knowledge in one or more environmental disciplines such as water protection, aquatic ecology, nature conservation, forest, soil, contaminated sites, noise, or air pollution control, and are interested in the connections between the environment, infrastructure, and spatial planning.

You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and enjoy taking responsibility. You enjoy dealing with different stakeholders and convince through clear communication and a confident appearance towards customers, authorities, and project partners. In addition to technical and professional interest, you bring a good understanding of project-related and economic contexts.
