Team Leader ETCS & Train Protection

You will take over the functional and personnel leadership of a team in the field of ETCS and train protection and manage resources and projects in the railway environment.

Tasks

• Personnel and functional leadership of the ETCS & Train Protection team
• Ensuring personnel development, succession planning, and know-how building
• Planning and management of resources and capacities across several projects
• Further development of processes, methods, and standards for project execution
• Ensuring compliance with relevant norms and legal requirements
• Advising projects, customers, and suppliers on train protection and train safety
• Participation in the strategic further development of the Train Protection competence area

Profile

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a comparable technical field
• Alternatively, technical training with corresponding further education
• Several years of experience in leading employees or technical teams
• Experience in resource planning and managing complex projects or project portfolios
• Structured, analytical, and strategic way of thinking
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
