As the only company in the country, Schweizer Zucker AG extracts natural sugar from sugar beets. During sustainable processing, various animal feeds and pectin are also produced. Around 270 employees work at two locations in this interesting and versatile environment. For our company, we are looking for a Specialist Silo, Plant and Climate Technology 80-100% at the location in Frauenfeld TG

Your opportunities
During the interim campaign (January to September)
Day work with occasional Saturday shifts

• Operation and troubleshooting of the packaging plants for big bags and sacks
• Monitoring, control, maintenance, and cleaning of the silo, conveyor, dust removal, as well as ventilation and air conditioning systems
• Operation and monitoring of the control station and silo processes
• Loading of loose sugar onto trucks and rail
• Support for the maintenance team with the screening plants
• Collaboration on technical projects
• Documentation of the work carried out in the ERP system

During the campaign (September to December) in 2-shift operation (-- Uhr / -- Uhr)

• Operation, monitoring, and technical support of the ventilation and air conditioning systems
• Ensuring correct conditioning and air conditioning of the silos
• Storage of sugar types in the correct silos
• Daily control rounds through the silo systems

Your profile

• Basic technical training, e.g., as Müller/-in EFZ, Anlagenführer/-in EFZ, Produktionsmechaniker/-in EFZ or Polymechaniker/-in EFZ
• Further training or experience in the field of climate and ventilation
• Experience with process control systems
• Experience with Office 365 and ERP systems
• Experience with silo, conveyor, or dust removal systems is an advantage
• Willingness to work shifts during the campaign
• Forklift license (R1/R2) is an advantage
• Good oral and written German skills, at least C1
