Following the retirement of the current job holder, the Commune de Savièse (VS) is looking for A school director Your mission Reporting to the municipal authorities, you ensure the pedagogical, administrative, and strategic direction of the schools in Savièse. You guarantee quality teaching, the smooth running of educational establishments, as well as the implementation of municipal and cantonal orientations. Your main responsibilities • Ensure the general direction of primary and secondary schools. • Guarantee the smooth running of the establishments and support their development. • Implement the decisions of the municipal and cantonal authorities. • Supervise, support, and develop the teaching staff. • Promote a collaborative and constructive working climate. • Maintain quality relations with parents, authorities, and institutional partners. • Develop and manage the budget as well as financial monitoring. • Manage school infrastructure and equipment. • Represent the schools to external partners and promote development projects. Your profile You are a personality recognized for your leadership, your sense of organization, and your excellent interpersonal skills. You enjoy evolving at the interface between pedagogical, human, and institutional issues. • Recognized pedagogical training. • Training in school management or a title deemed equivalent. • Complementary training in management, leadership, or public administration. • Proven experience in teaching. • Experience in team management or school management. • Good knowledge of the Valais school system and applicable legal bases.
