For our client, an established Swiss industrial company in the field of special machine construction and technical plant solution, we are looking for an independent, travel-ready, and technically strong personality as Service Technician International Mechanical Engineering 80-100% (m/f) in the Baden AG area.

In this function, you will look after sophisticated machines and plants directly at the customer's site. You will support assembly, commissioning, service, fault analysis, and technical process support. In doing so, you will combine mechanical understanding, electrotechnical know-how, and a confident manner in an international environment.

The position is suitable for a specialist who enjoys being on the road, understands complex technology, and enjoys professionally supporting customers with sophisticated machine solutions.

Your tasks ##

• Carrying out international service assignments at customer sites
• Mechanical and electrical assembly of machines and plants at the customer's site
• Support during installation, commissioning, functional testing, and acceptance of technical systems
• Analysis and rectification of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or control technology faults
• Technical and process-related support of customers during commissioning and service assignments
• Carrying out maintenance, repairs, conversions, and optimizations on existing plants
• Instruction and support of customer personnel in handling machines and technical processes
• Cooperation with engineering, automation, assembly, spare parts service, and project managers
• Documentation of performed work, technical feedback, and service reports
• Ensuring a professional, customer-oriented, and solution-oriented way of working

Your profile ##

• Completed training as an automation technician, electromechanic, mechatronics technician, polymechanic, machine mechanic, or comparable technical training
• Experience in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, service, commissioning, or technical customer service is an advantage
• Good combination of mechanical understanding, electrical engineering, and control technology
• Knowledge in pneumatics, drive technology, sensor technology, actuator technology, or PLC controls is an advantage
• Experience with Beckhoff, TwinCAT, Siemens, or comparable control systems is an advantage
• Confident handling of technical drawings, electrical schematics, assembly documents, and service documentation
• High willingness to travel for international assignments
• Independent, resilient, and customer-oriented personality
• Confident manner, good communication skills, and enjoyment of contact with customers
• Good German and English skills in speaking and writing
• Category B driver's license is an advantage
