Team Leader Reception

The network of the Swiss Youth Hostels association consists of 43 own and 7 partner youth hostels, ranging from the romantic castle to the urban design establishment to the wellness hostel. The non-profit organization achieves around 820'000 overnight stays annually. The focus is on quality-conscious, sustainable, and affordable youth and family tourism. For our new youth hostel Savognin, which is expected to open its doors in December 2026, we are looking for a TEAM LEADER RECEPTION, 80-100% as of December 2026 Your tasks • Responsibility and leadership of the reception • Competent contact person for our guests • Management of the reception including check-in/check-out • Processing of e-mails, phone inquiries, and reservations • Advising guests on offers, surroundings, and activities • Assistance in optimizing room occupancy as well as support with tasks around offers, invoices, and online platforms • Training and promotion of reception staff • Support and representation of the Hostel Manager • Flexible assistance in other departments Your profile • Service-oriented with a focus on guests and enjoyment of guest contact • Quick comprehension and independent as well as reliable working method • Team player with personal responsibility and willingness to take on responsibility • Organized, initiative, and eager to learn • Hands-on mentality – you see work and get involved • Open to deployments throughout the operation and flexible (including weekend/evening shifts) • Experience at the reception/front desk; good PC skills (ideally hotel systems) • Very good German language skills and good English language skills What we offer you We offer you a varied activity in a professional and modern non-profit organization.
