Head of Technical Department / Management Board Member (m/f/d)

Our client is a successful company with a modern infrastructure in Central Switzerland. The company specializes in the distribution and assembly of high-quality products. For operational leadership, we are looking for a solution-oriented personality with strong organizational skills and decisiveness.

Your tasks

• Overall operational, strategic, and personnel responsibility for the technical department
• Leading two teams with approx. 20 employees
• Processing orders and projects as well as managing and maintaining the customer base
• Creating offers as well as following up on repair offers
• Placing material orders for repair and maintenance work as well as checking delivery periods
• Receiving and coordinating repair orders via telephone and e-mail
• Ensuring compliance with deadlines, coordinating and supporting the introduction of new products
• Controlling deadlines, organizing, coordinating, and scheduling transports
• Controlling working hours and processes as well as monitoring deadlines

Your profile

• Basic technical training is an advantage in the metal, industrial, construction-related, or automotive industry
• Further training as Techn. Kaufmann, Fachmann Unternehmensführung, Betriebswirtschafter HF or corresponding professional experience in employee leadership
• Leadership experience and enjoyment in bringing people, technology, and organization together
• Responsible specialist with an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset
• Structured way of working as well as the ability to maintain an overview even with several tasks pending simultaneously
• Good ERP knowledge
• German: proficient in style
