Generalist Accountant

The Ville et Commune de Boudry, which has nearly 6’700 inhabitants, employs approximately 95 collaborators in service to the population.

In order to strengthen the Finance Department team, the Conseil communal is advertising the position of

Generalist Accountant 100 % (M/F)

Within a dynamic team, you will actively participate in the financial and accounting management of the Commune, in compliance with the legal standards in force.

Your missions

You will notably assume the following tasks:

• Maintenance of general and auxiliary accounting according to MCH2 standards
• Recording and control of accounting entries
• Monitoring of debtors and creditors
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Participation in the annual closing of accounts and the preparation of the budget
• Contribution to the improvement of accounting and financial processes
• Carrying out controlling and budget monitoring tasks

Experience and training required

• Training in accounting (CFC d’employé·e de commerce with accounting specialization)
• Federal diploma of specialist in finance and accounting, an asset
• Confirmed professional experience in a similar function and/or in controlling (minimum 10 years).
• Experience in municipal administration is a major asset
• Proficiency with IT tools and accounting ERPs (Abacus, an asset)
• Excellent mastery of common IT tools, in particular Excel
