Main tasks
As a development engineer, you will independently accompany your products from the functional specification to market launch.
You design, calculate, and develop standardized components and assemblies for our transport, longitudinal transfer, and aluminum profile systems. The focus is on production-ready, economical solutions and the optimal multiple use of components in our modular systems.

You build prototypes, commission them, and systematically evaluate calculations, measurements, and tests. In doing so, you also use our industrial 3D printer. You work closely with internal departments, product management, and external suppliers, support market launch and product training, and advise on technical questions regarding customer projects and project assemblies.

Requirements/Your profile

• You have a completed degree as a mechanical engineer FH/ETH (Bachelor or Master),

ideally supplemented by basic training as a design engineer or alternatively as a polymechanic.

• You bring experience in the development and design of mechanical components and assemblies;

knowledge of the production-oriented design of tool-bound parts such as plastic injection molding, die casting, aluminum extrusion, or plastic extrusion is an advantage.

• You enjoy standardized product components and modular kit systems and ideally have

experience in variant management.

• You are proficient in working with modern 3D CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks, and apply dimensional, form, and

position tolerances in a function- and cost-oriented manner. Knowledge of SolidWorks Simulation or FEM is an advantage.

• You are interested in additive manufacturing processes and combine analytical thinking with a passion for innovation and

a view for economical, technically feasible solutions.

• You work independently, structured, and customer-oriented, value collaboration within the team as well as with

suppliers, and are happy to take on responsibility.

• You are proficient in written and spoken English.
