PANEL BEATERS - PAINTERS with a Federal Certificate of Capacity

Responsibilities

Surface preparation

clean and strip surfaces (sheet metal, aluminum, plastic, etc.) to level them

fill defects using a spatula or a spray gun

clean elements thoroughly to prepare them for coating layers

mask surfaces that must not be painted

apply anti-corrosion treatments

spray an insulating primer, making the surface smooth and ready for the finish paint

Paint preparation

select the vehicle color and estimate the amount of paint required

check the condition of the paint and mix colors

Painting and finishing

in a well-lit and dust-free room, apply the paint with a spray gun, observing the necessary drying times between coats

perform simple decorative painting (writings, company names, drawings or subjects with special effects)

dry the vehicle (e.g., with an infrared device)

polish and touch up any defects, giving the final paint the desired gloss

Profile

Experience and autonomy in substrate preparation, identification of base, effect, and coverage paints and preparation of finish paint

execution of creative and repair work, execution of finishing work

Available to work on 2 shifts

Available also on Saturday
