What you can contribute

• Guarantee the availability of systems and hardware as a senior manager in the field of equipment for flying personnel and for the parachute service
• Manage requirements planning and guarantee the management of preparation and distribution data
• Participate in an advisory capacity in the development of the procurement strategy, determine stock coverage, and optimize stock rotation.
• Ensure the flow of information to the department responsible for purchasing and system management as well as to the item managers
• As a technical specialist of the material and operations competence center, perform, analyze, and evaluate tests
• Ensure that maintenance instructions, maintenance-related supporting documents, and spare parts catalogs are up to date

What makes you unique

• Completed vocational training (CFC) in the fields of logistics, technology, or commerce, supplemented by continuing education in logistics, material management, planning, etc.
• Generalist with professional experience and technical sense
• Solid knowledge of SAP, preferably in the areas of inventory management, planning, and order management
• Sense of responsibility and customer service, autonomy, rigor, team spirit
• The result of the security clearance regarding persons must mandatory be positive.
• Knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of English (level B1)

The Operations Command (cdmt Op) is responsible for all operations and all military engagements of the Swiss Army. The cdmt Op includes in particular the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence center, the Special Forces Command, as well as the Military Police.
