Job Description

YOUR MISSION

As part of the creation of a new position, we are looking for a General Services Manager responsible for managing all activities related to buildings and infrastructure, occupational health, safety and security, as well as 1st level IT support for the site.

You are a true partner to operations, guaranteeing the availability, safety, and performance of these areas. You play a key role in project management and the continuous improvement of the working environment, in close collaboration with internal and external partners.

You will be responsible for guaranteeing the regulatory compliance of the site in all areas relating to infrastructure, occupational health and safety, fire protection, security, the environment, and applicable legal obligations.

Your activities will be as follows:

Management and leadership

• Supervise, animate, and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented working climate.
• Develop team cohesion and support employees in their skill development.
• Unify different stakeholders around common objectives.

General services, building and infrastructure

• Ensure the management and proper functioning of the buildings, installations, and infrastructure of the sites.
• Guarantee the maintenance, upkeep, and evolution of equipment.
• Manage external service providers and ensure the quality of services provided.
• Ensure the management of budgets related to your scope.
• Ensure the regulatory compliance of installations, documentary follow-up, as well as the successful completion of audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental requirements and coordinate the actions necessary to maintain site compliance.

IT

• Supervise 1st level IT support activities for the site in collaboration with the relevant teams.
• Coordinate local IT support activities in connection with the Group IT teams.
• Participate in the definition of needs and the implementation of technological evolutions.

Occupational Health, Safety (OHS) and Security

• Assume the role of the site's OHS referent.
• Implement and maintain the OHS management system.
• Ensure the performance of risk analyses, manage accident investigations, and guarantee the follow-up of corrective measures.
• Prepare for SUVA and authority inspections.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of installations and practices.
• Promote a strong safety culture among all employees.
• Ensure compliance with Fire requirements, coordinate regulatory controls, and maintain operational fire protection devices.

Project Management

• Manage infrastructure, construction, renovation, and building improvement projects.
• Coordinate various internal and external stakeholders.
• Guarantee compliance with costs, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Be a proactive proposer in the continuous improvement of infrastructure and services.
• Participate in the definition and maintenance of site business continuity plans and risk management.

Qualifications

• Higher education (Engineer, Master's or equivalent) in a technical, industrial, or infrastructure-related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of confirmed experience in an industrial environment, including significant responsibility in occupational health and safety (OHS), risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in managing services for industrial sites or support functions with high transversality, covering all or part of the following areas: infrastructure, general services, OHS, security, or facility management.
• Successful experience in the global responsibility of one or more industrial sites, involving the coordination of several support functions and the animation of internal and external expert networks.
• Confirmed experience in managing multidisciplinary teams as well as in supporting and developing employees.
• Strong ability to evolve in complex and transversal environments, to coordinate various professions, and to unify stakeholders around common objectives.
• Solid experience in managing transverse projects, budget management, and change management within demanding environments.
• Good understanding of the issues related to business continuity, security, and the operation of an industrial site.
• Unifying leadership, global vision, and the ability to take a step back to arbitrate multiple issues and sustainably support site performance.
