Junior Assistant Anesthesia

The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care performs approximately 6'000 anesthetics annually in a modern environment with a broad range of specialties. The interdisciplinary intensive care unit with 8 beds and the emergency service also belong to our area of responsibility. ### What to expect • Care of patients before, during, and after anesthesia under the supervision of a specialist • Support of assistant doctors in everyday clinical practice • Participation in further education events • Participation in emergency services and pain management (after two months) by agreement • Free accommodation option in the nearby staff house • Regular working hours What you bring to us • Good German language skills • Student of human medicine • Interest in a specialist further training for anesthesia in our house • Sense of responsibility and team spirit • Empathy in dealing with patients Family friendliness The Spitäler Schaffhausen as an employer The Spitäler Schaffhausen include the Kantonsspital, the Psychiatrische Dienste, the Praxen Radiologie and Kardiologie Posthof Neuhausen, and the Praxis Neurologie Schaffhausen Zentrum. With over 1'700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients. Additionally, we are an important training center in the canton.
