The Early Childhood Service works every day in favor of the well-being and development of children from 0 to 4 years old. It is equipped with several institutions with municipal and subsidized extended and restricted services, allowing for the best possible response to the needs of children and their families.

Ideally located in the quartier des Sciers, the crèche PotiMarron opened its doors in summer 2025. This new municipalized structure allows for the reception of 32 children in two multi-age groups, thus offering an environment that allows siblings to be together.

Our pedagogical approach places a particular emphasis on nature and outdoor life, allowing children to flourish while developing a strong bond with their natural environment.

If you have the ambition to work closely with a team, to be a solid support on a daily basis, we are looking for a:

Housekeeping Manager (M/F)

100% position - Class 8

Mission:

• Ensure the tidiness and routine maintenance of the institution;
• Management of linen, preparation of dirty linen for sending to the laundry upon receipt and its distribution;
• Ensure the management of stocks related to the function, in compliance with ecological standards and with a view to optimal use of resources (management of the storage room, implementation of management and product tracking boards);
• Ensure the maintenance and good condition of the furniture, equipment, and machines made available throughout the institution;
• Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and clean environment for the children and staff;
• Assist the institution's cook in the production of meals for the crèches Zinzolin and PotiMarron;
• Ensure the transport of meals between the crèches Zinzolin and PotiMarron, by soft mobility vehicle;
• Manage the dishes for lunch as well as afternoon snacks (washing and tidying);
• Ensure safety rules regarding children.

You are the person we are looking for if you possess the following profile:

• Holder of a CFC in Hospitality-Housekeeping Management;
• Confirmed professional experience in the field of early childhood is an asset;
• Perfect oral mastery of French;
• Knowledge of cleaning products and their use;
• Knowledge of hygiene standards provided by the Service de santé de l'enfance et de la jeunesse;
• Knowledge of the functioning of a regeneration kitchen;
• Interest in the field of early childhood;
• Autonomy, good team spirit, versatility, adaptability, and good physical condition;
• Strong sense of welcome and service, as well as an affable and dynamic personality.
