In this exciting position, you are responsible for the implementation of projects in the field of steel hydraulic engineering within our Axpo power plant park as well as for external customers. Tasks & Responsibilities: Handling all questions and matters regarding steel hydraulic engineering in renewal, maintenance, and new construction projects Independent management of projects in all phases of project execution - from planning to commissioning Dimensioning of steel hydraulic structures (existing or new) Checking calculations and design from suppliers Checking existing plants for residual load-bearing capacity and earthquake safety Preparation of specifications, works contracts, and tender documents as well as coordination with customers and suppliers Ensuring compliance with costs, deadlines, and quality specifications Collaboration with internal and external partners such as authorities, advisory groups, and associations Profile & Requirements: Completed studies as a civil engineer or mechanical engineer (ETH / FH / TU) Several years of experience in the field of steel hydraulic engineering (company or planning office) Proven knowledge in the design and planning of steel hydraulic engineering constructions (armored pressure systems, damming facilities, water intakes, etc.) Experience in corrosion protection and ideally in welding technology and solid construction Several years of experience in project management is an advantage Knowledge of tendering and contract management is an advantage Do you have an open and communicative personality as well as sound specialist knowledge?
