As a school social worker, you will accompany children and adolescents in their personal development, support families and contribute actively to a positive school climate. Together with a committed team, you will make an important contribution to the well-being of our students.

Your tasks

• Counseling and accompaniment of students in personal, social and school-related issues
• Counseling and support of parents and legal guardians
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with teachers, school management as well as internal and external specialists
• Prevention and intervention in conflicts, crises and challenging situations
• Planning and implementation of preventive offers and projects
• Documentation and record keeping according to professional specifications

How you score with us

• Completed training in Social Work (FH)
• CAS in School Social Work is an advantage or willingness to complete this further education
• Experience in counseling, prevention and project work with children and adolescents, ideally in a school environment
• High social and counseling competence as well as joy in working with children, adolescents and families
• Sensitivity and competence in dealing with cultural diversity and different lifeworlds
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
• Ability to work in a team, resilience and flexibility
• Open, communicative personality with a confident appearance
• Own car or e-bike is an advantage
