Who you are As part of our team in the Visual Merchandising department, you are responsible for the presentation and communication of the IKEA furniture range. With strong visual impressions, you will constantly surprise, inspire and strengthen the IKEA brand. • You have studied Visual Merchandising, Polydesign or Industrial Design. • You possess creativity, supported by your commercial and visual skills as well as your pronounced sense of aesthetics. • You actively strive to simplify our working methods and thus optimize costs. • You are accustomed to a high workload and can handle stress and time pressure well. • You are familiar with various communication media and product presentation techniques. • You are willing to spend 80-90% of your working time on the sales floor and implement Visual Merchandising concepts directly on site. • You have solid knowledge of CAD software, particularly Revit. • You speak fluent German and English. You are responsible for • Visually designing the furniture range around a product or product combination that inspires visitors and meets their furnishing needs. • Highlighting the uniqueness of the IKEA range through your visual merchandising skills and strategies and presenting products in various media in the furniture store and business areas. • Ensuring that the store layout is used correctly to achieve an optimal visual effect and at the same time provide a good overview of the products to facilitate shopping. • Closely collaborating with sales, logistics and involved partners: exchanging knowledge while respecting mutual responsibilities to present the range to customers in the most attractive way possible.
