The Operations Manager assumes the operational and strategic management of the overhead line 16,7 Hz specialist discipline and is responsible for the quality, reliability, and availability of the overhead line systems as well as the railway power supply.

Tasks

• Operational and strategic management of the overhead line 16,7 Hz specialist discipline
• Responsibility for the quality, reliability, and availability of the overhead line systems and railway power supply
• Technical leadership of projects, conversions, and renewals
• Ensuring compliance with legal, normative, and safety-relevant specifications
• Cooperation with operational planning, train dispatch, maintenance, asset management, and external partners
• Reporting to management and escalation management in case of critical disruptions
• Introduction and further development of technical standards and best practices

Profile

• Completed studies (FH/ETH) in electrical engineering or a similar field
• Leadership experience in technical operating organizations or management of complex technical projects
• Sound specialist knowledge in overhead line technology with a focus on 16,7 Hz
• Experience in planning, operation, and maintenance of overhead line systems
• Holistic understanding of the railway value chain
• German or French at level C2, the other language at least B2
