Your contribution

• Professionally manage the specialist application AVAM and develop it further throughout its entire life cycle
• Consolidate, prioritize, and transform functional requirements from enforcement, specialist departments, projects, and other stakeholders into implementable solutions
• Develop conceptual foundations, target images, and decision-making bases for the further development of AVAM
• Ensure coherence between the specialist application, business processes, data, legal requirements, and connected peripheral systems
• Help shape the functional roadmap of AVAM and participate in release, introduction, and further development planning
• Represent the AVAM specialist perspective and act as SPOC in projects, specialist committees, and cross-departmental endeavors

What makes you unique

• Higher education (HF, FH or equivalent) as well as further training in Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis, Business Informatics, Process Management, or comparable
• Several years of experience in a comparable environment with reference to specialist applications, business processes, product management, or digital transformation
• Experience in the functional management or further development of complex specialist applications
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into functionally viable, legally compliant, and user-oriented requirements
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, high personal responsibility, negotiation skills, and enjoyment of cross-departmental cooperation
• Good active knowledge of two official languages in spoken and written form; English skills are an advantage

In a nutshell

The Directorate for Labour of SECO is the federal competence center for central issues of labor market policy and unemployment insurance. The Labour Market/Unemployment Insurance service area shapes the functional framework of enforcement and accompanies its digital further development. As part of the Market and Integration division, the Functional Enforcement Support RAV/LAM/KAST group works at the interface of enforcement, specialist departments, informatics, and management.
In this function, you will take on a central functional role in the management and further development of the specialist application AVAM. You will contribute to ensuring that AVAM is developed consistently, in a legally compliant, user-oriented, and future-proof manner in interaction with business processes, data, peripheral systems, and legal requirements. In doing so, you will make a significant contribution to the digital transformation of public employment services and unemployment insurance.
