Head of Hardening Plant (m/f/d)
In this responsible function, you will take over the technical and personnel leadership of the hardening plant with around twelve employees. You are responsible for production and shift planning according to incoming orders, control the computer-aided systems, and monitor the process technology data and processes. Furthermore, you ensure quality through material testing and coordinate the maintenance of the large technical plant in close cooperation with the Maintenance/Repairs department as well as external technical specialists. A special focus lies on the technical further development of your employees and the targeted building up of know-how within the teams. Additionally, you take over and lead projects within production and work closely with the adjacent production areas. You have a completed degree in metallurgy, metallurgical engineering, or a comparable technical field of study. Decisive are your technical and practical experience as well as a broad general technical understanding. Experience in the area of hardening is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement. In addition to your technical competence, you bring leadership experience and know how to technically develop employees. Analytical thinking, a pronounced hands-on mentality, teamwork skills, and a confident, assertive appearance characterize you as much as experience in dealing with ERP systems, ideally proAlpha.
