• Coordination of the center's quality, environmental, and safety (QUS) concerns as the central contact and hub for activities in these areas and networking of the various processes
• Advising and supporting the center management in the management system: checking legal compliance, conducting hazard assessments and risk assessments, as well as requesting and implementing the corresponding measures
• Performing central safety roles (occupational safety, radiation protection, dangerous goods, toxic substances responsibility, information security, and object protection) including maintenance of the associated concepts and development of the emergency organization
• Ensuring spatial and environmental concerns as the RU-supporter of the center according to the VBS real estate concept and integration of environmental concerns into processes and business
• Responsibility for the quality and process management area: internal and external audits and controls, idea and complaint management, surveys, project portfolio and controlling, TQM and Business Excellence
• Training and sensitization of employees in QUS topics in German (at least B2) and Italian, including coordination of external training, conducting center-internal training, as well as planning focus programs and campaigns

What makes you unique

• Basic technical or manual training, preferably supplemented by commercial or business administration further education, or higher vocational education with 2--3 years of function-relevant professional experience
• Completed training as an ASGS safety assistant, demonstrated by a Suva certificate or proof of training within the framework of training supported by EKAS, or an equivalent training is an advantage
• Specialist training or knowledge in the areas of quality, process and project management, audits and controls, environmental management, occupational safety, dangerous goods, integral security, and Business Excellence are an advantage
• Generalist with professional experience and good knowledge in the assigned area of responsibility, an eye for the essential, as well as an outcome- and solution-oriented way of working
• Independent and responsible personality with entrepreneurial thinking and action, strong service orientation, ability to work in a team, and a strong team spirit
• Communicative personality with confident handling of digital technologies as well as with the processing of data and information
