Project Manager/Automation Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Process and system support: Support of production facilities with a very high degree of automation, which are strongly networked with each other as well as with higher-level ITOT systems.
• Holistic project execution: Independent planning, control and autonomous execution of automation projects across all project phases - with full responsibility for technical solutions, quality, milestones, deadlines and timely showstopper resolution.
• Financial and resource management: Creation of business cases, support of CAPEX/project budget requests as well as continuous monitoring of the budget according to current forecast and reporting processes; including demand-oriented resource planning.
• Team leadership and cooperation: Coordination and leadership of interdisciplinarily composed teams of internal and external employees as well as partners and suppliers.
• Consulting and strategy: Proactive support of the production plants in the definition and initiation of investment projects including cost estimates, schedules and evaluation of new technologies.

Candidate Profile

• Completed vocational training or studies as a technician / engineer in the field of automation, electrical engineering, technical computer science or similar
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of production automation, preferably with a pharmaceutical background
• Very good user knowledge in the field of automation software from Siemens S7, TIA, WinCC
• Sound experience in the GMP and GAMP environment
• High social competence, teamwork and very good communication and coordination skills, also when dealing with stakeholders and at all levels
• Readiness to work in an agile, self-organized work environment
• Very good German skills are required, English and French skills are an advantage
