La fondation de VernandAt the heart of schools, towns and villages in the canton of Vaud, we support the daily development of more than 600 children and adults with intellectual disabilities, pervasive developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders.
We are a non-profit organization, recognized as being of public utility and founded in 1972.
To contribute to our inclusive goals and guarantee the well-being, health and quality of life of the residents, we are looking to complete the Technical Maintenance department, a:
Technical Operations Agent (M/F) - Permanent position at 50%
Context
The maintenance department is composed of four trained employees, responsible for the entire management of the Foundation's logistical resources: buildings, green spaces, sports infrastructures, vehicles, etc.
In order to guarantee a quality, reactive and local service, we favor the engagement of employees residing within a maximum perimeter of 45-60 minutes from the Centre de Vernand in Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne (headquarters).
Your mission
Guarantee and ensure preventive measures in the technical maintenance of buildings, its installations and equipment, and more specifically for the Childhood and transitions sector.
Follow up on intervention requests issued by the teams (all types of repairs) in coordination with the maintenance manager and a team of 3 people and ensure various related repairs (electricity, sanitary, carpentry, etc.) including furniture adapted to people with reduced mobility (beds, wheelchairs, etc.)
Contribute to the maintenance of the vehicle fleet
Contribute to the management of the green spaces of the various
Set up the logistics for internal and external events and participate in their smooth running
Be the guarantor, alongside the security officer, of all security aspects of the environment
Make contacts and collaborate with the various existing suppliers and service providers
We ask of you
an CFC as an operations agent ideally, or any other CFC in the building field and 5-7 years of experience in technical building management (no concierge work)
Category B driving license mandatory
Experience in the maintenance of socio-educational establishments, school buildings, medico-social establishments and/or sports infrastructures
Usual IT knowledge with good abilities to write explanatory notes
Flexibility in time management and in replacing team members, as well as the ability to manage priorities – there are occasionally events 2x per year in the evening or on weekends.
Knowledge of standards and procedures in the field of the function, ability to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations and measures
A strong sense of service, the desire to learn, an attraction to manual work and a sense of responsibility
