Kubernetes/OpenShift Platform Engineer (76053) Task We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer for one of our customers. The small team is responsible for the design and operation of the container platform of the entire SBB. In numbers: they currently have 62 clusters with a total of 18,148 CPUs, 80TB Memory and a lot of storage (~500TB). The degree of automation is extremely high and they constantly have new exciting ideas on how they could further optimize. AI is also moving into the environment and they see a lot of potential in this area. A team with exorbitant Kubernetes know-how awaits. The following tasks await: Together with the team, you will take over the conception, engineering and operation of our really fat container platforms based on Kubernetes/Red Hat OpenShift; You manage the server fleet and the cloud infrastructure according to the "Infrastructure as Code" principle; In doing so, you interact with internal users, recognize new requirements for the cloud infrastructure, develop new solutions and implement them; You periodically take care of support requests, maintain documentation and FAQs and continuously improve the platform; You perform on-call duty for one week every seven weeks for the self-built container platform (SRE principle)! Requirements Experience in the administration of Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters and their automation Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenStack) Very good Linux and network troubleshooting skills (cable shark) A background as a software developer and knowledge in the programming language /Go would be a plus point.
