This is your contribution

• Assume technical responsibility for the proxy and firewall infrastructure and ensure its planning, evaluation, engineering, configuration, and operation
• Guarantee and monitor the availability and monitoring of the proxy and firewall infrastructure
• Independently analyze technical problems, assess them holistically, and develop sustainable solutions
• Create system technical concepts and realize their implementation in internal projects and infrastructure projects
• Ensure operation, maintenance, and cross-system engineering of various hardware, operating systems, and system platforms
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support including on-call service, thereby supporting the operation of security-relevant systems also outside of office hours

What makes you unique

• Vocational training in informatics, ideally supplemented by higher vocational training in informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience with network infrastructures in data centers as well as with proxies and firewalls
• Broad and deep technical knowledge of different hardware platforms and operating systems
• Knowledge of a scripting language, preferably Python, experience in the field of network monitoring with a certification in the network environment (Fortinet)
• Strong personal responsibility, analytical and conceptual thinking as well as the willingness to pass on expertise, continuously develop it, and contribute it to the team
• Good knowledge of an official language as well as good English skills
