For our customers - established timber construction and carpentry companies in the canton of Luzern - we are continuously looking for physically fit and reliable assistant fitters/assistant fitters in timber construction (m/f/d). We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working with wood, think ahead, and roll up their sleeves on the construction site.

The assignments are ideal as interim jobs for Matura graduates, students, as well as persons before or after military service (Rekrutenschule), a language stay, or a longer trip abroad.

Job description ##

• Assistance in the erection of timber structures
• Support of the carpenters on the construction site
• Assembly of prefabricated wall, ceiling, and roof elements
• Collaboration in element construction and general timber construction work
• Assistance with facade, interior finishing, and insulation work
• Providing, carrying, and mounting timber components
• Loading and unloading of vehicles and material
• Operating simple hand machines according to instructions
• General preparation and cleaning work
• Working on construction sites in the entire canton of Luzern
• Outdoor assignments - also in rain, cold, or changeable weather
• Working on ladders and scaffolding
• Workload 100 %, from Monday to Friday

• Minimum age 18 years
• Mandatory residence in the canton of Luzern
• Good German language skills are mandatory
• Physical fitness and resilience
• Ability to work at heights and freedom from vertigo
• Willingness to work outdoors in bad weather
• Enjoyment of practical and physical work
• You can roll up your sleeves and think along during work
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented way of working
• Manual dexterity is an advantage
• Initial experience in construction or timber construction is an advantage, but not mandatory
• Driver's license category B and own car are an advantage, but not a must
