WRS Widmer Rail Services AG is a family-run railway undertaking (EVU) that is active in the three language regions (German, French, Italian) of Switzerland as well as in Germany, Italy, and Austria. To this end, WRS uses its own extensive locomotive fleet, its own shunting capacities, as well as its own personnel (train drivers and shunter) and also provides independent training for them, if necessary. Your challenges:

• Order coordination with central planning
• Dispatching of individual orders (control of order data / ordering of tracks / allocation of traction units and train drivers / system entries with infrastructure operators / customs & cargo documents) from the aspect of capacity optimization
• Creation of time- and distance-optimized duty rosters for train drivers, shunters, and visitors
• Problem solving in the event of operational disruptions and personnel shortages
• Orientation and support for train drivers regarding questions and problems

What you should bring with you:

• Proven experience as a dispatcher, train driver, or shunter
• Practical experience in railway technology is an advantage
• Strong organizational talent with business-oriented thinking & acting
• Good PC skills as well as affinity for IT programs
• Very good German skills (French and Italian are an advantage)
• Decisiveness as well as high resilience and stress resistance
• Readiness to work in shift operation
