The Federal Security Service (FSS) of fedpol carries out threat assessments, implements security measures and protects members of the Federal Assembly, Confederation employees and persons enjoying protection under public international law. It also manages the training and assignment of aviation security guards. The Assignment, Training and Planning Division designs work bases and planning for the operational areas of the FSS and manages the Confederation Hearing Centre.
