The Department of General Internal Medicine (DAIM) is a clinical center of excellence at three clinic locations in Bern (Beau-Site Clinic, Salem Hospital, Permanence Clinic), covering the entire spectrum of general internal medicine and interdisciplinary clinical emergency medicine. The DAIM is a Category A training center for general internal medicine, Category IV for outpatient medicine, and SGNOR Category 2 for clinical emergency medicine.
