For our site in Domdidier which has more than 450 employees, we are looking for an

Industrial Buyer 100% (m/f)

Do you want to put your purchasing expertise at the service of an industrial site and play a central role between internal clients and suppliers? Join our team in Domdidier and contribute to the performance of WAGO Suisse by driving the Procure-to-Pay process while acting as a true Purchasing Business Partner.

What does the job consist of? ##

• Manage and optimize the Procure-to-Pay process, from the expression of need to invoicing
• Act as a Purchasing Business Partner for the WAGO Suisse site and support internal clients in the definition and realization of their needs
• Identify, evaluate, select and develop a panel of suppliers meeting the technical, qualitative and economic requirements of the company
• Conduct calls for tender and commercial negotiations, then contribute to contracting and the monitoring of supplier commitments
• Monitor suppliers, claims as well as delivery or invoicing discrepancies, and coordinate the necessary actions
• Analyze spending, price histories and supplier indicators in order to identify levers for optimization and cost reduction
• Ensure the operational activities and support of the Purchasing department, while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and the reliability of data in purchasing systems
• Ensure the supervision and monitoring of the department's commercial apprentice by contributing to their training and development

What do we expect from you? ##

• A technical CFC completed by training in purchasing, procurement or a training deemed equivalent
• At least five years of professional experience within a Purchasing department in Swiss industry
• A good mastery of the Procure-to-Pay cycle, calls for tender, commercial negotiation and contracting
• An ability to analyze costs and price histories, as well as knowledge of customs rules and Incoterms
• A very good mastery of French and German, as well as good knowledge of English
• Practice of SAP and Microsoft 365
• A rigorous, reliable, solution-oriented personality, endowed with initiative and diplomacy
