Chef de Service

To complete our team, we are looking for a:

Chef de Service

Tasks:

• Reception of guests, ensuring a courteous and professional service;
• Coordination of the dining room service during working hours;
• Taking orders and supervising the correct execution of the service;
• Management of the cash register and opening and closing operations;
• Organization, coordination, and supervision of the dining room staff;
• Collaboration with the kitchen to ensure efficient and quality service;
• Management of customer requests and any complaints, ensuring high standards of satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Service or in a similar responsibility function in the restaurant or hotel industry;
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and staff management skills;
• Strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality standards;
• Good knowledge of the Italian language;
• Good knowledge of the German language (essential requirement);
• Good knowledge of the English language and knowledge of French is a preferred qualification;
• Availability to work shifts, including Sundays and public holidays;
• Having own vehicle or being able to reach the workplace by public transport compatible with service hours.

Employment conditions:

• Workplace: Locarno (Piazza Grande)
• Employment level: 100%;
• Open-ended contract;
• Start of employment: immediately;
• Activity carried out in shifts, with lunch and dinner service;
• Remuneration and employment conditions in accordance with the HotellerieSuisse / L-GAV collective labor agreement.
