Together we strengthen the image of the city of Biel and inform the population about political decisions, current projects, and events. You ensure communication via various channels. In particular, you are responsible for the city's presence on social media and develop it further. • Does your heart beat for social media and for Biel? • Do you want to plan, conceive, and create attractive content (text, image, video) from a wide range of topics? • Do you have a sense for design, storytelling, and trends? • Are you versatile in your interests and do you also enjoy political topics? • Do you want to perform a meaningful activity at the interface of politics and the public? What you ideally bring with you • Higher education in the field of communication or marketing (Bachelor) and/or training in Mediamatik • Sound experience in social media management and communication • Confident handling of digital communication tools • Knowledge in storytelling, writing, photography, video production, and graphic design (Adobe Creative Cloud) • Bilingual (d/f) or very good knowledge of both languages About us The Zentrale Informationsdienst is responsible at an organizational level for the entire communication of the city of Biel. As the official communication office, it highlights what makes Biel special as a place to live, work, and spend leisure time. It advises the Gemeinderat and the administration, coordinates communication via various channels, and is the contact point for the media. In particular, it manages the website and the social media channels. It is also responsible for the maintenance and further development of the Corporate Design.
