Your contribution

• Develop and lead scientific conceptions, implementation plans and complex projects in the areas of the Center of Excellence (CoE) Signals, military EKF systems as well as telecommunications and, in the role of the main user representative, represent the unified data platform to the procurement authority and the industry
• Independently perform advanced signal, spectrum, interference and protocol analyses, take responsibility for the fundamentals of the Integrated Signal Laboratory (ISL) and support the creation of fundamentals in the field of decoder development, signal generation for the benefit of weapon systems and in the field of reverse engineering
• Develop, plan and conduct experiments within the framework of Concept Development and Experimentation (CD&E) as well as lead internal and external bodies with a focus on signal and protocol analysis
• Develop scientific conceptions, studies and analyses across organizations and specify innovation projects and their implementation together with armasuisse W+T and / or industrial partners

What makes you unique

• Completion of training as an engineer, physicist or mathematician ETH or university degree with many years of professional experience
• Additional training in the field of project management or many years of project management/program management experience is an advantage
• High level of initiative, a pronounced service- and solution-oriented way of working as well as assertiveness and good communication skills
• Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language as well as good English skills

As a Systems Engineer Electronic Operations, you work in a small team of specialists in the area of the Center of Excellence Signals. You work on Radio Frequency (RF) signal analyses as well as experiments in the laboratory and in the field as well as in projects in a dynamic, intelligence and electromagnetic environment.
