At a glance In this versatile function, you will take over the responsibility for the financial and accounting department of SKAN Stein AG. As a central point of contact for all accounting topics, you will work closely with the finance team in Allschwil and various areas of the SKAN Group. With your expertise and independent working style, you will make a significant contribution to professional financial management and the further development of our organization. Your tasks • Independent management of financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting) including dunning • Responsibility for the monthly closing (Financial Accounting) • Preparation of annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER in consultation with the CEO • Preparation and accompaniment of audits as well as creation of the necessary documents • Creation of VAT returns and reconciliation of VAT accounts • Carrying out of intercompany reconciliations and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts • Management and control of expense management (Concur) and cash book • Formation and reconciliation of provisions (vacation, overtime, bonus) \n• Support of business insurances and settlement of insurance cases • Reconciliation of inventory changes • Creation of tax returns and support in tax-related questions • Collaboration in the optimization and further development of financial processes Hardskills • Commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting (e.g., accounting specialist, finance and accounting specialist or similar) • Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting • Experience in preparing monthly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements as well as in audit preparation • Good knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP • Experience with Power BI is an advantage • Very good German language skills and good English language skills Softskills • Independent, structured, and reliable working style • High degree of self-responsibility and pronounced quality awareness • Analytical thinking and numerical affinity • Team-oriented personality with pleasure in cross-departmental collaboration • Professional and confident appearance • Flexibility and resilience also in work-intensive phases We offer • An open and collegial corporate culture • Freedom for ideas • Intensive and job-oriented training • Short decision-making paths and flat hierarchies • Open communication policy • 5 weeks of vacation and possibility of additional vacation days If you have any questions, please contact Andrea Jeker.
