Helvetica Search is supporting one of its clients, a recognized industrial player in the development of high-precision technological solutions, in the recruitment of a Spécialiste Chiffrage Offres / Cost Estimator.

At the heart of projects and responses to calls for tenders, you will play a strategic role in the development, analysis, and reliability of cost estimations.

Working in close collaboration with sales, technical, purchasing, finance, and production teams, you will contribute directly to the competitiveness of offers and the control of financial risks for projects.

Your main responsibilities
--------------------------------

• Develop, consolidate, and ensure the reliability of commercial offer costings, from initial analysis to final submission.
• Build and maintain detailed industrial cost models integrating labor, raw materials, external purchases, manufacturing, tooling, testing, and development costs (NRE).
• Analyze cost structures, identify key variation factors, and challenge technical and financial assumptions.
• Perform should-cost analyses, benchmarking, and comparisons with historical data.
• Evaluate supplier offers and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Anticipate financial risks related to price fluctuations, production volumes, and industrial constraints.
• Prepare and present cost analyses during internal reviews and contribute to pricing decisions.
• Ensure the coordination of costing data with Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Production, and Sales teams.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of costing tools, methods, and processes.

Your profile
------------

• You have significant experience in cost estimation, offer costing, industrial costing, cost engineering, or project cost analysis.
• You possess a solid understanding of industrial processes, cost structures, and the economic challenges related to complex technical projects.
• You are proficient in building and analyzing cost models integrating different industrial components.
• You have excellent command of Excel and financial and cost modeling tools.
• You are capable of analyzing complex data, identifying inconsistencies, and proposing relevant solutions.
• You enjoy cross-functional work and know how to collaborate with technical, financial, and commercial interlocutors.
• You demonstrate rigor, autonomy, an analytical mind, and excellent organizational skills.
• You are fluent in English in a professional environment.

The skills that will make a difference:

• Experience in the aeronautics, space, defense, or high-technology industries.
• Knowledge of industrial tender response processes.
• Experience with Basis of Estimate (BOE) methodologies and should-cost analyses.
• Good command of SAP/S4HANA or dedicated costing tools.
• An understanding of development, industrialization, and mass production costs.
