Export Manager (60-80%)

You are well acquainted with international order processing and the export of technical goods. In addition, you are a courteous, winning personality and keep a cool head even in hectic times. If you are also the epitome of reliability as well as a precise, independent way of working and a team player, then you are exactly right for us. The primary tasks of this function include:

• Operational leadership and further development of the export department
• Independent processing of worldwide export orders for products subject to Dual Use goods classification
• Execution of exports including all necessary preparations and procurement of the required documents and certifications
• Advising our customers regarding possibilities and costs for exports to the respective desired countries
• Optimization of the movement of goods within the DACH organization in relation to costs and VAT issues
• Creation of detailed export offers
• Communication with SECO, the transport companies, and the respective importers
• Checking of sanction lists and products within the framework of the goods lists
• Documentation of the processes for export orders including export and import regulations of various countries for reference purposes
• Support with import questions and import processing
• Collaboration in the back office

What you bring with you

• Training as a foreign trade specialist with federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis)
• Several years of professional and leadership experience (>5 years)
• High customer and solution orientation
• Flexibility and ability to work in a team
• Dynamic, networked, and entrepreneurial thinking
• Proficient German and good English skills are a prerequisite
• French and other language skills are a plus
• Readiness for increased workload during holiday cover
