Construction machinery mechanic

The employer is looking for a:

Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (noted profession)

Tasks:

• perform preventive, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance interventions on heavy vehicles and earthmoving machinery
• carry out diagnoses of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults using appropriate instrumentation
• repair and replace worn or damaged components
• carry out periodic checks and technical verifications on vehicles and construction site equipment
• compile technical documentation relating to the interventions carried out
• collaborate with site managers to schedule maintenance and machine downtime
• guarantee compliance with Swiss regulations regarding occupational safety and environmental protection
• carry out any assistance interventions directly at the construction sites

Requirements:

• professional training as a Construction machinery mechanic, Automobile mechanic, Automobile mechatronics technician, Heavy vehicle mechanic or equivalent qualification
• at least 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles, earthmoving machinery or industrial vehicles
• knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems
• ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical diagrams
• good operational autonomy and problem-solving skills
• availability for external interventions at construction sites in the territory
• driving license category B; possession of categories C/CE constitutes a preferential qualification
• precision and reliability
• organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
• aptitude for teamwork
• flexibility and ability to work under pressure
• previous experience in the construction sector in Switzerland of at least 3 years
