For an important partner in the canton of Fribourg, we are looking for a:

Job description ###

-Design and dimension load-bearing structures in concrete, steel, wood, or mixed construction
-Perform static calculations and prepare calculation notes
-Develop structural concepts adapted to the technical and economic constraints of the projects
-Participate in all phases of the projects, from the preliminary study to completion
-Coordinate studies with architects, clients, and other mandatories
-Collaborate with draftsmen and check execution plans
-Prepare tender documents and participate in the analysis of offers
-Ensure technical monitoring of the works and perform inspections on construction sites
-Ensure compliance with standards, budgets, deadlines, and quality requirements
-Participate in coordination meetings and advise the various stakeholders
-Search for reliable, sustainable, and economically optimized solutions

Profile ###

-EPF, HES civil engineering degree or equivalent training
-Professional experience in the dimensioning and realization of load-bearing structures
-Excellent knowledge of statics and strength of materials
-Mastery of Swiss SIA standards
-Good knowledge of structural calculation and modeling tools
-Mastery of a BIM environment, an asset
-Ability to read, analyze, and check technical plans
-Analytical, rigorous, and solution-oriented mindset
-Ability to manage several projects and respect deadlines
-Interpersonal skills and ability to work with different trades
-Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and commitment
-Mastery of French
-Good knowledge of German, an asset
