Randstad, leader in the placement of permanent and temporary personnel in Switzerland, is looking for a motivated construction laborer for one of our renowned partners in the road construction sector to strengthen their field teams. As an asphalt laying assistant, you will work directly on road construction sites to support the laying teams. Your profile: • You have previous experience on civil engineering or road construction sites. • You are recognized for your physical endurance and your ability to work in demanding conditions (temperatures, outdoor work, sustained paces). • You are punctual, rigorous, and enjoy teamwork. • Compliance with safety instructions is an absolute priority for you. • Ideally, you have a vehicle to travel to the various construction sites. Your responsibilities include: • Active assistance in the laying, leveling, and compaction of asphalt layers (tar) for the creation of roads, sidewalks, and bituminous surfaces. • Preparation of the substrate before laying. • Close collaboration with machine operators and other construction workers. • Strict application of safety and marking rules on road construction sites. • Cleaning and maintenance of equipment after use.
