Automation Installation and Maintenance Technician | Automatic Gates and Doors | Canton Ticino

For a company specialized in the design, installation, and maintenance of automation systems, we are looking for an Installation and Maintenance Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. The resource will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical assistance of automatic gates, sectional doors, garage doors, access control systems, and civil and industrial automations, operating at customer sites within the territory of Canton Ticino. What you will do You will become part of the technical team, handling: • Installation and testing of automatic gates, industrial doors, garage doors, and automation systems. • Ordinary, extraordinary, and preventive maintenance of systems. • Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems. • Reading and interpretation of electrical, electromechanical, and pneumatic diagrams. • Wiring and connection of electrical panels, motors, sensors, and control devices. • Installation and maintenance of electric motors, photocells, remote controls, control units, and security systems. • Technical assistance interventions directly at the customer's site. • Verification of the correct functioning of the systems and preparation of technical documentation. We are looking for a person with: • Experience as an Electrician, Maintenance Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Automation Installer, or similar roles. • Technical diploma or professional qualification in the electrical, electrotechnical, electromechanical, or industrial automation field. • Good ability to read electrical diagrams. • Experience in wiring and assembly of electrical and electronic systems. • Ability to identify and resolve electrical and electromechanical faults. • Good manual dexterity and operational autonomy. • Driving license B. • Availability to perform interventions at customers in Canton Ticino. Constitutes a preferential title • Experience with automatic gates, industrial doors, or sectional doors. • Knowledge of Siemens PLC or other industrial automation systems. • Experience in electromechanical maintenance. • Welding skills. • Knowledge of anti-intrusion systems, access control, sensors, and security systems. • Experience in external technical assistance (Service Technician).
