Operations Mechanic (m/f)

Job number: 8507 Work location: St.Gallen Workload: 100% Tasks: • Ensuring the technical availability and operational readiness of production plants and machines • Independent execution of maintenance, servicing, and repair work • Error analysis as well as rapid and sustainable troubleshooting during ongoing production operations • Technical support for production as well as collaboration in the optimization of plants and processes • Participation in the establishment and continuous further development of a preventive maintenance system • Careful documentation of maintenance work, malfunctions, and measures implemented • Collaboration on technical improvement projects to increase efficiency, quality, and plant availability • Compliance with applicable safety, quality, and environmental standards Requirements: • Completed basic technical training, e.g., as a polymechanic, production mechanic, plant and apparatus builder, or in the electrotechnical field • Professional experience in maintenance or technical upkeep of production plants • Sound mechanical knowledge; knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, or electrical engineering is an advantage • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working • Willingness for flexible work assignments and on-call duty (if required) • Team-oriented personality with high reliability, resilience, and sense of responsibility
