Children and adolescents with cognitive, multiple, and mental impairments as well as behavioral abnormalities are the focus of daily work in the children's residential groups at the St. Josef-Stiftung.

The residential group OPAL is a lively home for seven children and adolescents with cognitive, multiple, and mental impairments as well as special behavioral abnormalities. Our everyday life is varied, full of beautiful moments, but also challenging. In addition to much joy of life, working with us also involves psychiatric aspects that require a clear attitude, patience, and resilience.

We are looking for a committed personality who enjoys intensive and dynamic work, is open to children and adolescents with special behaviors, and maintains calm, humor, and team spirit even in difficult situations.

What you can look forward to

• You help shape the living and developmental space of the children/adolescents
• You take on key person work and implement the coordination of the competency plans
• You work together with internal and external specialists as well as family members and legal guardians

How you convince

• You have experience in working with children with cognitive impairments
• You have a social pedagogical education or an equivalent vocational training level (FaBe, social pedagogy, social work, childhood pedagogy)
• You are motivated, empathetic, patient, self-responsible, enthusiastic, and enjoy working in a team
• You bring the willingness for irregular and split working hours as well as on-call services at night and camp accompaniment
• You value interdisciplinary cooperation and are eager to represent the needs of the children and adolescents
